Susan Bershad is the National Director for Metrus Group, a research and consulting firm specializing in growing organizational value through strategic focus, productivity improvement, talent development and measurement and building high performance cultures. The firm consults with organizations on the development and implementation of business strategies, employee and customer assessment, strategy-workforce alignment, talent development and culture change.

Susan joined Metrus after a career at Johnson & Johnson that included start up and leadership of the Johnson & Johnson Consulting Group, a global internal consulting organization supporting the 200+ Johnson & Johnson businesses in strategy, organization design, change management, post M&A integration, executive and team development. She had a leadership role in the development and deployment of key practices in change management, organization design, talent management and the design and worldwide implementation of Credo values decision-making. As part of her extensive consulting work with senior leaders, Susan initiated a “high-touch” process to accelerate the successful transition of senior leaders into new roles. Susan was a core member of the Women’s Leadership Initiative Steering Committee with accountability for all WLI-sponsored development programs around the world.

Prior to that, Susan held a number of roles at Sperry Corporation (now Unisys), where she led a corporate-wide initiative driving quality improvement through employee engagement and had P&L responsibility for the launch and success of a new venture.

Susan received BA and MA degrees in English from Brooklyn College of the City University of New York and did further MBA studies at Rider University. She attended executive education programs at Duke and the Tuck School of Business.
