Wayne Cooper is a serial entrepreneur who has built several successful information companies. 

Wayne is the Managing Director of Greenhaven Partners, a private equity firm that invests in and mentors emerging information based companies.   He is Chairman of Pyramid Research and Exchange Networks and an active board member of Bongarde Media and New Legacy.

Before founding Greenhaven, he was the CEO of Kennedy Information, which he and his team grew dramatically and then sold to The Bureau of National Affairs for 30X the purchase price 5 years earlier.  He was also the Chairman and CEO of Vizium, a marketing services company founded by Greenhaven’s partners and sold to Carat Worldwide.  Wayne and his partners also purchased Media Publishing International, expanded it and then sold it to Variety Magazine and grew investors’ equity value by over 5x in less than 3 years.   Before becoming an information industry entrepreneur, Wayne was a management consultant with Bain & Company and Monitor Company in Boston, London, Milan and California.  Earlier in his career, he worked at Goldman Sachs and The World Bank. 

Wayne has an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA from Stanford University.  He serves on the boards of several non-profits including The Specialized Information Publishers Association (where he is the President Elect) and The Specialized Information Publishers Foundation.  He is also active in Young President’s Organization, AIPAC, Freedom House and various organizations that promote tolerance education throughout the world.
