Hope Greenfield is an expert practitioner of leadership and organizational development. Over the span of a thirty year career she has demonstrated the unique ability to translate cutting-edge ideas into practical strategies for building critical organizational capabilities. She simultaneously executes system-wide strategic initiatives while building powerful coaching relationships with senior executives. She combines her leadership expertise and coaching ability to develop leaders and cultures that help businesses successfully execute their strategies.

Hope has honed her methodologies in senior roles at world class firms across a range of industries, most recently as the Chief Talent Officer of Lehman Brothers. She began her career at Digital Equipment Corporation where she rose to become the Vice President of Development and Learning, responsible for a team of 300 whose mission was to drive learning practices that supported innovation. Collaborating closely with academic thought leaders she implemented state-of-the-art initiatives to help drive key business strategies. Hope moved on to become the Chief Human Resources Officer at C. R. Bard, a medical device company, where she led a transformation of the culture helping the company gain positive momentum after experiencing difficult financial and regulatory setbacks. In her last corporate role as Chief Talent Officer of Lehman Brothers, Hope combined her knowledge of innovative learning strategies and cultural change to produce a suite of initiatives that helped to build a range of strategically important capabilities from leadership ability, to client focus and to improved processes for sound ethical judgment. In addition, Hope significantly contributed to the identification and development of the firm’s high potential population and the creation of a more diverse work force. All of these efforts bore the mark of Hope’s distinctive methodology as a practitioner: state-of-the-art ideas implemented in a practical fashion that gets results.

Currently acting as a consultant to business leaders, her work is focused on areas where she can help to conceptualize and design initiatives that support key strategic pillars of a firm. Her expertise in leadership and organizational development, combined with her experience-based business acumen, make her an ideal thought partner.

Hope earned her B.A. from the University of Massachusetts and an Ed.M. from Harvard University. Outside of her work Hope has many interests, including her farm in New Jersey where she rides and breeds horses. Additionally she has served on several nonprofit boards, and currently is Chairman of the Board of Rioult, a New York based dance company.
