HR Technology Solutions Network

HR Technology Solutions Network

Members of the HR Technology Solutions Network share a need to understand the role and capabilities of HR technology as it applies to their companies. While members may not specialize in HR technology, it impacts all HR and financial disciplines as well as the bottom line every day. It is incumbent upon members to expand their knowledge and contribute to solutions which provide the tools and infrastructure that enable efficient and cost-effective staff operations. The means by which members achieve this goal is education, building relationships and sharing best comparable practices.

Focus on Critical HR Technology Issues:

  • Ongoing scans of the HR technology marketplace to keep current with developments and products that may fit their company
  • Identification of the HR technology needs of the member’s organization
  • Understanding of and contribution to HR technology strategy and roadmap
  • Understanding of the role of information management within HR and how that applies to all functions within HR

About Membership

Members are drawn from a large number of organizations of all sizes. The common thread among the organizations is their commitment to the best use of HR technology for their respective businesses. Members typically hold the highest responsible position for the overall use and deployment of the organization’s Human Resource related technology roadmap and solutions.  Rather than a particular title, it is the responsibilities that avail the individual for membership.  Members typically have organization-wide (or division-wide in very large organizations) responsibilities that may include many but not all of the core functions listed below.  Many organizations are organized around “centers of excellence” which means the member may be responsible for program and plan design while implementation is the responsibility of IT teams or third party providers.  In the smaller organizations, it may be the senior HR person who participates in the network.
