Our 2020 Autumn Global HR Leader Network Virtual Meeting was held on October 29 and November 4. We focused on ensuring that our people strategies are capable of enabling a positive transition to our new world of work. Organizational models and HR leaders need to adapt to a new reality that demands agility, flexibility, and mobility. Our Thought Leaders and members discussed how they are identifying, addressing, and strategizing key issues which were exposed by the pandemic and the call for equity and inclusion: the implementation of people analytics, the new approach to performance management, the obstacles of returning to the workplace, the importance of mental health and employee wellbeing, and the consequential demand for the internal market place to strengthen employee engagement, purpose, and inclusion. How organizations have survived, revived, and thrived as a result of the global pandemic and social unrest will be the defining measures of success.
Attending HR executives were from companies including but not limited to Arla Foods, BASF SE, DHL Express, Mars Inc., Prudential Financial, Microsoft, Comcast, Johnson & Johnson, AXA, UnitedHealth Group, Wolters Kluwer.
