
Throughout the pandemic, HR leaders have had to make many important decisions to effectively respond to the crisis quickly and thoughtfully to ensure their employees feel safe and supported. The problem, however, is that the rest of the business has not been put on hold. Total rewards leaders must continue to do work to develop their total rewards strategies, implement new systems and tools, and reconsider benefits packages as many organizations transition to flexible work environments. Although the crisis feels far from over, organizations must use this opportunity to rethink the systems and programs they have in place and focus on the future.
