Naspers Addresses Gender Gap In India (as a Pilot Country) with Mike Piker and Dirk Jonker

It will take 170 years to close the gender pay gap worldwide according to the World Economic Forum. For example, the gender gap in India is 20%, a crucial global growth market and for Naspers as well. Naspers, a leading Global Internet platform business/investor and media group, is addressing the gender gap in India as a case example for change. Through people analytics, Naspers developed three lenses to measure the gender gap which is selection, pay and promotion biases using an auto correcting regression model.
