Recommit to our Community Values: The Power of Commitment and Accountability in Our Communities of Practice

As we launch into a new fall season, I want to sincerely thank each of our peer community members and to say how much we appreciate your commitment, attendance, willingness to share insights and most of all – contribution to the power of your peer communities.

As senior leaders, your expertise and insights are vital to the success of your network. With your input and suggestions, we create global engagements and events designed not only to foster connections but to enable rich, meaningful exchanges that help advance your goals as well as those of your peers, and now, your team members.

However, we have observed a growing challenge: while many of you accept invitations, attendance at our events and meetings has been inconsistent. This not only impacts the individual experience but also the collective value of our community.

We fully understand the high demands of your roles and that unexpected situations can arise. Your time is incredibly valuable, and we are mindful of the responsibilities you balance. However, we kindly ask that when you commit to an event or a peer meeting, you do so with the intent to participate fully. Your presence isn’t just a personal opportunity—it contributes to the dynamic exchange of ideas and shared experiences that are central to the success of these events.

When circumstances shift and you’re unable to attend, we appreciate your timely communication. This allows us to adjust our plans, accordingly, ensuring the event still meets the needs of all participants.

In essence, your commitment to these engagements reflects your accountability to your peers—leaders who, like you, have invested their time and resources into this unique opportunity for growth and collaboration. By actively participating, you help ensure that our community continues to thrive and deliver value for everyone involved.

Thank you for your ongoing engagement and for supporting the success of our collective endeavors. My door is always open for feedback, ideas, and suggestions – we want you to love being part of this unique program. We look forward to continuing to serve you and facilitating valuable connections within our community.
